Car Insurance Hyundai (Car Insurance). How to get 91 octane fuel into my BMW?How to get 91 octane fuel into my BMW? So I just got a 2003 BMW 330i w/ manual transmission. I talked to the owner I bought it from and he said he mixes the 93AKI fuel with 89AKI fuel to get the recommended 91 octane fuel in the user's manual. Is there any easier way to get that 91 rating from 89 fuel? Would an octane booster be enough to protect my engine so I can dodge the higher premium costs? Cuz the time it takes to fill it half with 93 and half with 89 just seems like a waste to me. FYI In texas they only offer 87/89/93 octane fuels. 93 will be better than 91 and and it only recommends 91 in bmw it can use 87 and be fine but if you want to spend more on gas just use 93 it will save time from mixing and will only cost about 15cents more a fill up to then mixing Auto parts : Mig Wire Acura 1995 . Hyundai . The Best Way to Clean Leather Car SeatsLeather remains a top-of-the-line item in automobiles, adding an extra $1,500 to $5,000 to the cost of a new car. To keep the leather soft, supple and luxurious, regular maintenance is required. Here's what you need to know to clean leather car seats. Leather Foes Leather is damaged by the grime and debris that naturally accumulates in automobiles. Dust and dirt will cause microscopic tears in the upholstery. Over a period of time, these abrasions will present themselves as wear. Ultraviolet light from the sun will cause the leather to dry and crack. Finally, skin oil aids the aging process of leather as well. Cleaning Leather Car Seats There are various leather cleaning products on the market. Automotive stores, as a general rule, carry a wide selection of brands from inexpensive to pricey high-end choices for the car enthusiast. Cleaners generally come in spray bottles. For best results, do not spray the cleaner directly onto the leather. Instead, dampen a white terry cloth towel with the cleaning solution. Apply to the seats using an overlapping, circular motion. Work a small area at a time. Dry each section with clean, terry cloth or microfiber towels. Conditioning Leather Car Seats Cleaning leather is important, but it is not enough. The final step to automobile leather care is applying leather conditioner. Available in creams and sprays, leather conditioner moisturizes the material to keep it soft. High-end conditioners made specifically for automobile leather have a sunblock feature that prevents ultraviolet light from damaging the leather. As with cleaning, apply the conditioner to a cloth applicator, not directly to the leather. Using an overlapping, circular motion, apply the conditioner to the leather. Using a clean, dry cloth, buff excess conditioner from the leather. For best results, work in small areas of about two or three square feet at a time. ResourcesHow to Protect Leather Seats
